fwiw, please don't get me started on the "sent to prison for weed" (largely) myth which i have debunked at least half a dozen times.

it is pretty darn hard to get sent to jail (let alone prison) apart from maybe overnight for merely possessing personal amounts of weed

many cops don't even file the case, they dump the weed

and most personal possession cases get a small fine

usually when you see somebody get TIME for possession, they have a metric assload of priors or on probation

but again, i was talking speech

nobody denies we incarcerate a high %age of our population
