I have an old metal futon frame that I haven't had a mattress for in ages. Probably ought to get rid of it, as it takes up space, but my cat really loves to climb it and sit on top of it. So I keep it turned on its end in my living room, it's about six and a half feet high. And I hang a sisal scratch pad from it.




I don't get the poutrage. Most of the modifications in the pictures don't look very expensive at all. Certainly no more so than building some new bookshelves or a loft bed or installing a new door...the kind of stuff people do all the time with no judgments.
