I sure hope we have an active primary season next go round....

This answers the formerly theoretical question, " Hey, what if ALL the elected officials refused to listen and act for the general welfare? What then..?"

Back before last years election victories, I wondered why the Dems, though in minority position wouldn't do something like go stand on the capital steps in protest EACH morning for 5 minutes or whatever..something to show that they are on the case even without the votes. They really are cowards and/or have some misguided principles. They don't think they can win, so they don't try?! Okay fine then..move out of the way. Get out of the trough.
