6. No surprises here. Obviously the US and its little brother Canada
decided to wait for the UN resolution before uttering the words, "President Zelaya must be reinstated." Clinton was full of mush yesterday as was her spokesperson. When Obama declared that the coup was "not legal," it was the prelude for the US to sign on to the resolution. The US was playing it hour by hour shifting and adjusting their course yet never demonstrating a noble stance about any of this. What's happened here at the UN in no way means that the US Ambassador to Honduras Llorens is not quietly unfolding Plan B.
