He opposes partial birth abortion (which the vast majority of people do, democrat, republican, or independent), he supports parental consent laws (which is reprehensible), but he believes the decision to abort should be between a woman and her doctor.

He proposed an amendment to allow individuals working in the ER to not personally dispense EC for religious purposes, but not to turn them away from the ER outright, as the ad suggests. When the amendment failed, he voted to require all relevant personnel to dispense the EC.

If you can find a quote or reference of him saying that rape victims can get in a car and go to another hospital, I will take it all back. I'm sure the state senate transcripts are freely accessible, so I'll check back later tonight.
