22. Spector was not a progressive he was a republican
no matter if he did change to a Democrat he WAS a republican. And there is nothing wrong with what was done. Bush did it when he asked Phewlenty to drop his bid for the senate so Norm Coleman could have free access to the bid. And there were several others also. I don't remember them all. This is something Reagan did also.

Republicans think other Americans are like them, that they have selective memories and forget any thing the republicans have done.
