and my suggestion is to call, e-mail and write the president to get the ball rolling by not holding out an Olive Branch to the rabid weasels known as the GOP.

We can do this, but it takes a lot more than complaining on DU, we have to be pro-active and make ourselves known, not just on DU but across the nation, every D should be flooding the WH with a "spine up" message. We have the #'s and we can do this, we need to push for PO to take on the morans and beat them handily. The only reason the GOP took what they did during the mid-term is because people, damn good people, sat out the election.

The GOP is dying, we allowed it to be resurrected because we were not pro-active...even decent R's can't stand the shitweasels that took over. Just killing UI extension and the tax cut fiasco...(you can add the GOP "death panel" in AZ and "Saddlebag Jan Brewer" to the mix as well), and you have an explosive mixture that can spell the end of the GOP...but we have to work to get it done.
