1) Wanting good healthcare is for totalitarians
2) Politicians are unable to take action because their are many diverse opinions, thus they are not responsible for the outcomes of the political process. Even though they have sought the positions of leadership under the auspices of being able to deliver results, we should accept that it is truly beyond them.
3) You're not getting your pony, deal with it.

Let me respond and phrase this in a way similar to your chosen form. By eliminating narratives involving more comprehensive healthcare systems such as single payer, Obama has removed both the leftist part of the spectrum and the most practical form of achieving the goal from the dialectic process. By doing this he has ceded the matter to the right wing, which has predictably chosen increased profits over the supposed goal of actually treating the sick. This is why meaningful reform will not happen.
