I used to work the tobacco fields. Cutting tobacco in the August sun is not my idea of fun. Housing was tough too. I would always call for unloading the trailers, even though I have to handle every stick of tobacco. On the truck you are not 10 to 20 ft off the ground, up near the hot tin roof.

This is a small barn compared to the ones I've worked.

You can't imagine how filthy you get housing tobacco. Tobacco is nasty stuff.
