The deity teabaggers pray to in their mega-churches or while blathering prostrate at home seems quite the impotent idol. To be sure, the teabagger god is a raging asshole; he is far more keen on damning homosexuals and abortion providers and whipping up calamities to punish America’s tolerance of each than with mercy, compassion, or amity among men.

But he’s undersized and ineffectual–more a barking bully than a real threat to his earthly antagonists.
