This is the "reverse Geico effect". You see, Geico tells you that the average person who switched to Geico saved 15% or more. Allstate says the same thing. They can both be right because practically NOBODY switches to another company of their rate would be higher. The ones who switch - to any company - do so primarily because they can get a better rate.
