And how does Central Market and WF know what their organic chickens, etc., are being fed? I'm not sure they're required to disclose that.

I've started really looking at food from Australia and New Zealand -- elsewhere, too.

As someone posted, it's time to get our plot and start growing ourselves. Easier said than done, though.

It's just so sad.

ETA -- and buy from local farmers at local markets. Someone told me I won't believe the difference in eggs! I was also told that even though some of these growers might not have "organic" on their products, they grow organically but just aren't large enough to fork over the money to become ***Officially Certified***, so ask!
