Anyone ever have any GOOD non-alcoholic wines or champagnes?
Looking for something for the holiday. I tried one once and it was unbearable swill.

1. never tried those but I love the carbonated apple, grape and cranberry juices
that come in "champagne" bottles. also soda and juice mixed is good, just missing the festive bottle.

3. Are There Non Alcoholic Champagnes?
I have never been able to enjoy any festive drinks because of all the meds I have to take. Because I am not familiar with alcoholic drinks I never know what substitutes are out there. I only had champagne once 40 years ago and would like to have something similar this year even though it won't taste like the real thing.

6. Yes, sort of
You should be able to find them at the supermarket. They are just carbonated grape juice and don't really taste like champagne.

7. We're serving cranberry
Pinot for the drinkers, cranberry juice cocktail for the non-drinkers. You can't go wrong with cranberries for Thanksgiving.

8. Nope.
The de-alcoholization process damages the natural juice compounds in wine, leading to bitter reds and thin whites. I've tried Ariel and Fre more than once, and can't stomach them.

If you want wine without alcohol, just drink grape juice. It will taste better.

9. Another vote for the sparkling juices...
I have never tried the non-alcoholic wines, and I have never heard a single good review of them. I have had sparkling juices. They are quite good. And, I suspect that the cranberry juices make a pretty good mixer with vodka, if any of your guests are so inclined.

BTW, if you are going to use any of it for cooking, go ahead and use the real thing. All the alcohol will cook off.
