This was sent to me by a friend of mine, and I thought it might be appropriate to post to DU. Moderator: If this isn't the correct place for this post, please move it to a more appropriate one. Thanks in advance.
I'm sure you guys have heard at least snippets of the bombshells contained in McClellan's' new book providing more evidence of the criminal behavior in the White House. While I don't wish to reward a cowardly putz (he's not a whistle-blower - he waited until he was free and clear to spill, so he doesn't deserve the moniker) but his allegations do provide more fuel for further investigations. In case you are interested, you might, as I have done send something along to your Rep and our Senators. Here's what I wrote, feel free to crib, copy, plagiarize, just say SOMETHING.
Dear <Insert name of ineffective or DINO Congressional Addressee here>
I am writing regarding my concerns about the allegations of the criminality of the Bush Administration as put forth by Scott McClellan in his new book being released currently. Whatever the motive or purpose for his book, the claims of Mr. McClellan represent further charges and potentially additional evidence regarding the malfeasance of the Executive Branch, up to and including the President himself. These charges MUST be investigated and the wrongdoers sanctioned. Please either initiate or support any and all investigations and proceedings that Congress should and must undertake to investigate these allegations. Sincerely,

1. Even some of the Republicans are going to be on board with this. |

They've only got a few more months to redeem themselves or be booted, en masse, from the Hill. The ban on speaking ill of fellow (R)s as well as the united front they've presented since the Reagan years are no longer serving a party that has been hijacked by it's most radical minority.
Personally, I hope they don't. We'd be better served if they continue to support #43*, his insane policies and are swept from power, never to return.
I'm feeling all giddy now.
