5. I (heart) the Millennials
Edited on Tue May-18-10 10:31 PM by Dogmudgeon
I was born a few months after the very peak of the Boomer wave. I've never given "m-m-my generation" the 110% congratulations they/we have always declared ourselves to deserve.

There are PLENTY of excellent Boomers, but the hype far exceeded the reality.

The Millennials are a lot more reality-based. I'm happy that I'm not too old to enjoy their political ascendancy.

Yay! Millennials!

6. Hopefully
their political views will stay the same after the move out of baby boomer basements/college dorms and get a job.

I have seen a lot of minds change politically after they start paying taxes and assume the stresses related to adult life.

I think full adult responsibilities will be somewhat delayed for the bulk of millenials but they will have to deal with them eventually.

It's easy to be political when you don't have anything else to do except play Halo, tweet, post on Facebook and spend 6 years earning a communications degree.
