This movie, a shameless exploitation film by Russ Meyers from 1970 hits all the right notes. It's got evil queers, cute dykes, the horrors of drugs and music and sex and violence. Shit, it just doesn't get much better.

1. Isn't that the one Roger Ebert wrote?
Or do I have it confused with another movie?

4. Yes, Roger Ebert wrote this (I didn't know until the credits)...
That might explain why for a trashy exploitation film, it's actually kinda smart.

2. You need this!
And to answer the other question...yes, BTVOTD was written by Roger Ebert.

Rabblevox: you definitely need this pile o' mindless diversion. 32 trashy movies for only $14.99! Can't beat that. I have this collection. And I'm savoring it as I would a collection of fine vintage wines, watching one or two occasionally.

Drive-In Cult Classics - 32 Movie Set

All of these date from the late Sixties/Seventies, which makes them a blast to watch just for the contemporary styles. Shag carpet in burnt orange and puke green! Beehive hair! Lava lamps! Psychedelia! Custom vans!

The movies:

The Babysitter
Best Friends
Blood Mania
Bloodlust
Blue Money
Carnival of Crime
Cindy and Donna
Click: The Calendar Girl Killer
The Creeping Terror
The Devil's Hand
Double Exposure
The Hearse
Hot Target
Land of the Minotaur
Lurkers
Madmen of Mandoras
Malibu Beach
Malibu High
Night Club
The Pick Up
The Pink Angels
The Pom Pom Girls
Separate Ways
Single Room Furnished
Sister in Law
The Stepmother

3. Oh hellz yeah! My next unemployment check, I''m on that one!, and could I recc this?...
http://www.amazon.com/25-Sci-Classics-Charles-Bronson/dp/B002WG8U0M

these are of the "so bad they're wonderful" variety. Just the 1st one (Horror Of Spider Island) is worth the price. Studs with guns, babes in bikinis, motion-captured monsters, and incredibly bad voice-overs!

What's not to love?
