We've been wrong about the economy being weak. |

If there's enough extra money floating around that you can make a living sharpening pencils at $15 a pop... there's plenty of money. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/jacketcopy/2010/08/david-rees-artisanal-pencil-sharpening.htmlI'm checking my calendar just to make sure that I didn't sleep eight months and end up at the start of April.

3. Just to make sure, know there is some subtle humor here. |

He pens a cartoon strip. This is another humorous idea. Not that it's not legitimate, but I would bet money that he is not making enough to even pay for a website with this. Just because he offers a sharpened pencil and has a picture of him at a workbench...but it is funny. And since 10% of the people get 50% of the income in this country, there are a few with money.
I really like the poster designed by (?) that he sells for $60. I can see sales for a few of those, and any graphics program at a community college will have a student with the skills and the time to take a flyer on something like this.
That said, it could drive traffic to a web site and the banner ads might pay enough. So in thinking about an idea to get some money from people make sure you look at all the revenue angles. Get someone to do a clean web site and some decent graphics and it could turn into a little something.
But thanks for that link. It is thought provoking...
