Detainee dies at Camp Cropper

BAGHDAD, Iraq – A security detainee died April 4 at Camp Cropper, Iraq.

The detainee was pronounced dead at 11:53 on April 4 by an attending physician
at Camp Cropper’s medical facility. An investigation is pending to determine the
cause of death, a standard procedure for detainees who die while in custody of
the Multi-National Force (MNF).

The family will receive the remains upon completion of the investigation, in
accordance with standard procedure.
