Write to McCain!

I know it sounds crazy but I just e-mailed him (will follow up with snail mail) to ask him to join the Democratic members of Congress who signed a letter to the GAO asking for an investigation into electronic voting. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=203&topic_id=73567&mesg_id=73567

I expressed my concern with all the alleged irregularities and possible fraud in the past election and appealed to him as someone who clearly strives to uphold the integrity of the American electoral process, based on his bi-partisan efforts in campaign finance reform. One thing I forgot to mention in my message is that he has recently issued some scathing opinions about the Ukraine elections. Should have appealed to him with that, too.

Okay, I realize he campaigned for * and he's a total sellout for doing it but I really think if a lot of Arizonans bombarded him with emails, letters, and phone calls it might convince him be somewhat respectable again.

McCain is a total reThuglican whore and anyone ascribing some integrity to him on political matters is wholly mistaken. This guy saw fit to abandon principle for the possible chance of gaining the support of the neocons and RW fundamentalists in his eager quest to run in 2008. Give a f**king break - he is not going to do anything to disrupt his quest.
