Do you really truly think Kerry could win AZ? |
|
The reason I ask is that I'm in Texas and plan to go to a swing state to help GOTV the weekend before the election through Nov. 2nd. I could go to NM, but I have friends in Phoenix so I'd rather go there. Do you really think AZ is "swing state" material?

I'd say If Kerry wins AZ, he's already won Florida, Nevada the entire midwest other than Indiana and therefor the election
NM is closer to texas and you can see your friends after the election. Just my opinion.

4. Both states have strong Dem governors. |
|
We have a much better shot at NM, I guess. But Arizona is definitely in play.

5. We have a shot here but I think it's better in NM |
|
Besides, we've had a deluge of people from CA come in to help.

My personal opinion.
Shrub is polling within margin of error in AZ, which means it is doable.
Also, historically, an incumbent polling at 49% on election day gets +/- 1% of 49%. Challengers polling at 44% on election day get +2 to +4% of 44%.
IOW, it's a dead heat. It's in play. One person's effort could make the difference.
NM will go to Kerry unless something disastrous happens.

7. Yes, I do...I'm headed there next week...I'm also going to NM... |
|
Come join me in AZ! NM too! I think we can win both....AZ a little harder, but I believe it can be done...AZ has 10 electoral (or is it 11?) and NM 5....I think we can make a difference and we need to go to AZ....The Repukes think AZ is theirs....wrong....

8. You wouldn't believe how many Kerry signs I'm seeing |
|
in Texas - both in Houston and Austin. It's all been since the first debate, but I don't think Kerry has a serious chance unless someone outs Dubya as being gay or something. I might just do it.

9. Well, maybe Kerry can't win Texas (or maybe?) but it won't be a big win |
|
for Bush.....
I think that the turnout for Kerry is going to be huge....I think the Bushites are doing everything they can to try and manipulate the polls and public perception....I think the sentiment out there is that people are tired of the last 4 years and are not wanting another 4.....
You might just do what....out Dubya? Cool.... :)
Well, if you are wondering whether it makes a difference to get out to a swing state, take it from me, it does...I spent all last week in Oregon and it was amazing....
So, come join me in AZ! And then NM - we will win those two states, I feel it...
