CT Meet Up Date/Location

Let's try to picnic on Sunday, June 26th 1:00 p.m.-- pot luck. Now the question is where. We just went to Day Pond in Colchester today and it has a nice little swimming area as does Gay City in Hebron. Sleeping Giant would also be good. Does any one feel we need to reserve a picnic area and should we just meet at a spot? I am no good at making decisions! HELP!!

5. How about Devil's Hopyard?

There's not actual swimming area, but the kids can splash around in the creek.

And there's no parking charge there. Lots of picnic tables.

I rarely have a completely free day and made a choice. It has more to do with kids and an unaccommodating ex-husband. Part of why he's an ex, but I still have to deal with it to a degree out of necessity.

Are dogs allowed at the parks? How about adult beverages? (I'm not much for cooking, but am good at purchasing said beverages)
