Ashamed of my vote for this coward.

Rep. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., said he was "disappointed that Speaker Pelosi is going to seek the position of Minority Leader."
Donnelly issued a statement Friday after Pelosi's announcement, saying he won't vote for her to be minority leader. "I strongly believe we need a change in leadership to reflect the desires of the millions of people who cast votes in this recent election," he said.

Exactly who are these "millions of people who cast votes in this recent election" who's desire he believes need
to be reflected. Donnelly represents the Democrats and Independents of the 2nd District here in Indiana, who helped him defeat the teabagger Jackie Walorski. I called Donnelly's office this morning to tell them how frustrating it is to have him attack Pelosi just like the teabaggers we so abhor. How cowardly of him to come out publicly to kick her just one more time, as if she didn't carry enough water for the party in the last 2 years. What a fucking coward and ingrate! This is a guy how hasn't sponsored and passed one bill of his own during the entire 111th congress criticising the woman that lead them to pass the almost impossible health care bill.
I voted for Donnelly to try and hold the congress and because the idea of Jackie Walorski in Washington as anything other than a tourist is enough to make me sick. But he has now put himself on the top of my shit list. His rep will be in town on Wednesday and I will be on his doorstep first thing to tell him in person that Mr. Donnelly is a coward who kicked Pelosi when she was down for his own political gain. What he fails to recognize is that the 1.4% he won by are the people he should be thanking, and the reason we voted for him is that we thought that he had the gonads to stand up to the teabaggers and do what was right for the District instead of what was politically expedient.

1. You need to contact them and let him know he was lucky he didn't lose the election
because of his spineless campaigning.

Here is my response to one that brought up Donnelly. Both of us do not live in his district.

There are a few on DU that were bitching about Pelosi running again. But others and me took them down on that. Rachel and possibly others on MSNBC have jumped on Bayh, Schuler and others for suggesting that Pelosi shouldn't run. I think Rachel had a scroll down on what Pelosi accomplished as Speaker. And then Pelosi comes out that the reason Republicans had attacked her was because she was effective. And from all accounts she has been the most effective Speaker there has been in a long time. What is Boehner going to do every time he gets in front of an audience? Break down and cry or get belligerent?

Donnelly is a damn fool. He won by 1.5% of the votes. If it had been just between Wacky Jacky and him he would had lost by 5%. A question that should be asked is how many didn't vote because of his stance with Obama and Pelosi. Especially with Obama. He had more than 97,000 fewer votes than in 2008 while Wacky had more than 3,000 more votes than the R in 2008. He received more than 13,000 fewer votes than he did in 2006. If he doesn't work with Obama in the next two years to ensure that he wins Donnelly will lose in 2012. Donnelly needs the votes that come out because of Obama.

He has a problem with socialists? What about his Catholic Church? How much does he tithe? Or is he one of those that tithes as little as possible? I'm sure he gets back what he tithes. =-O And none of his tithing is used by other people.

In addition, Donnelly is one of those dumb ass Blue Dogs. His coalition was decimated in this election. The Progressive Coalition was barely touched. Heath Shuler was advocating that Pelosi was ineffective and should not run. He referenced that in football those not effective are pulled. He should know he lasted just a few years and his QB rating was in the low 50's.

2. I'm suprised he won by that much.
Not in my district but representing my home towns of South Bend and Mishawaka. Why attack their leader? Absolutely clueless.
