The Fort Wayne talk radio station afternoon drive time guy often says things like "We don't need anymore Republicans like Lugar in Congress."

As much as Congressman Pence would like to run for President I don't see him landing the financial backing to make a run for the top job. I suspect this is an attempt to lay the foundation to replace Lugar with Pence after his bid for the presidency fails.
