Our Democratic candidate won his race against the incumbent!!
And Johnson County doubled its Democratic representation in Topeka. We went from 3 Dems to 6.
Oh happy day!!

1. What district are you in? |

I was happy that Gene Rardin won re-election. But saddened that neither Ron Wimmer nor Pete Roman won their senate districts.
I think more than the right wingers, too many good people think it's okay to vote for a Republican because he or she is "a moderate" or a "good guy". We need, somehow, to get through to those voters and get them to understand that the conservative/right wing Republicans run things in Topeka, and so voting for a "moderate" Republican doesn't do any good.

Dems won in the 16th, 18th, 19th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th. That's Rardon (but there will be a recount), Neighbor, Furtado, Benlon, Talia and Slattery.

2. I'll second that . . . |

Congratulations to Mike Slattery! Good riddance to appointed representation.
