Channel 11 News was out of line

I was watching the 11:00 pm news last night. One of their teasers was about the Martin O'Malley rumors and the Governor's appointee Steffen. So I was interested enough to stay tuned.

It was truly ludicrous. They reported that one of the people Steffen communicated with in Freeperville was MDFORBUSH. MDFORBUSH was highly encouraging about the rumors, offered to spread them further and wanted to know how Steffen did it. Channel 11 was insinuating that MDFORBUSH was an instigator in the rumors.

They finished off the report, saying that perhaps MDFORBUSH was a political dirty trickster who's purpose was to "sting the Governor".

How ridiculous is this? They are leading people to believe that because the admitted rumor monger Steffen may have been aided that he was less at fault? Even if it were true, does that make Steffen or the Governor that encouraged him any less horrible?

Here is an attachment to the on line report, but it fails to make the assertion that it was a setup.

to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and admit their personal responsibility when they go around lying about their perceived political opponents.

Time and time and time again, these guys get caught lying and blame someone else.
