Lee Iococca hasn't given up on Michigan? Huh? |
|
Is that why he lives in California? He's now stumping for Devos and says in a new commercial that he hasn't given up on Michigan and neither has Devos. What an idiot!

3. Lee doesn't always have the best judgement |

He endorsed Bush in 2000 and has since regretted it. Guess he hasn't noticed that this Dick is just like Bush. A rigid dipshit ideologue who has gotten ahead through nepotism.
Lee, clearly you don't know Dick. And we can't endure four years of a disaster until you know better.

4. That was my exact first thought when I read the article in the |
|
paper this morning. If you haven't given up on Michigan, why do you live in California?
WTF!

5. The Iococca ads are out in full force-- saw it several times last night. |

I think I caught the end of a new Grandholm ad too, one about "No one working harder to bring jobs to Michigan. No one." This has been a theme in other previous ads I've seen. A big part of this one is about helping Ford employees with re-training and healthcare while they're without work.
One thing the Iococca ad did for me: I went online and donated to Grandholm's campaign last night. The thought of someone with automotive background who lives in California telling Michigan how to vote really made me angry. Especially since DeVos and wife have backed a boycott against Ford Motor Co.

6. Need help! Anyone know how to contact Iococca by email or address? |
|
I would like to send him my opinion about his backing of DeVos, particularly in light of the DeVos family boycott of Ford Motor. Afterall, Iococca did work for Ford before joining Chrysler. Is it possible that he doesn't know about the Ford boycott???
Thanks if anyone can help with the contact info.

7. This is the only information I could find |
|

It's from the Iacocca Foundation
info@iacoccafoundation.org
The Iacocca Foundation 17 Arlington Street 4th Floor Boston, MA 02116
A place to start at any rate.
I also found this so I don't know what the heck happened to Lee since 2004 unless dementia is beginning to set in:
www.cnn.com - Switching sides, Iacocca endorses Kerry - Jun 24, 2004

8. Thanks. I'm still searching for a more direct way to contact Iacocca. |
|
I wonder how Iacocca feels about stem cell research since the Iacocca Foundation is trying to find a cure for diabetes which was the cause of his wife's death. I have heard that DeVos is against stem cell research but don't have a link for that.
