I haven't been back to my hometown for eight years, and figured why not do it during the worst month of the year? Actually, it's my brother's birthday and I'm coming back for that. While I'm going to be in town, I'm taking a ring to be repaired, and was trying to see if Tivol's was still on the Plaza. I stumbled across their political donations, and they're Blue!

Back to packing - I see it's going to be in the teens at night back in Hellhole. Brrrrr. I'll need all my sweaters, and then some!

1. Mopaul's Blues Band will be playing at Jazz at 39th and State Line on Friday, Feb 3 from 7 to 11. We had a large group last month and a great time was had by all. So come and join us for fabulous music and wonderful food!

2. On Thurs, Feb 2, Mopaul will be a featured player at the kkfi-fm harmonica blowout at BB's BBQ at 85th and holmes. Starts around 6ish. Lots of harmonica players; Mopaul says bring your own ear plugs.
