Nice to meet everyone. It gets kinda scary being blue in this puddle of red out here.

There are several other Dems out west too, of course, but they usually don't offer that info unless they know they are in safe company.

The only thing that keeps me sane is that Lincoln is somewhat liberal (yes, it is all relative). Are you in one of the counties that went 80-20 Bush? Yipes.

5. Almost an Omahan

Lived there for a couple years, now live in Council Bluffs. I know, I know, that's a touchy subject for some in Ne. But I'm not a bad guy. Really.

This Minnesotan DUer is going to be in Omaha over the Thanksgiving weekend. I grew up there and my parents still live there. Anyone going to be around? I can tell you all about life in a blue state. :)

16. Middle Aged Omaha Dem here. Been here almost all my life. It's

a real struggle, as well as a pain in the ass to be surrounded by so many idiots who have no concept of what a democracy should really be.
