Ras Poll: Corzine Up By 12%!
uly 15, 2005--A month after New Jersey's Republican Primary determined his opponent, Democrat Jon Corzine has built a twelve percentage point lead over Republican Doug Forrester.

Corzine attracts 50% of the vote to 38% for Forrester. Four percent (4%) of voters say they will opt for some other candidate while 8% are not sure.

A month ago, Corzine was ahead by seven points, 47% to 40%.

Forrester is struggling to solidify the support of New Jersey's conservative voters, just 63% of whom currently plan to vote for the GOP nominee. A month ago, he had 74% support from thes voters.

By way of comparison, 83% of liberal voters in the Garden State support Corzine. That's up from 73% a month ago.

1. And usually in Jersey
the numbers look closer than they are until the last few weeks until the Democratic candidate pulls ahead, so I think this is a pretty big lead.

3. Forrester never had chance
Corzine had it wrapped up as soon, as he announced his candidacy.

4. Hooray
Now Corzine can keep doing his job in Washington. If he doesn't adequately oppose Roberts my vote for him in November in questionable.
