3. Why Andrews?
It seems to me we couldn't ask for a better Democrat in Frank Lautenberg. He is one of the more progressive members. Yes he is getting older but I don't see that as a good reason to throw him under the bus.

4. Good Progressive!
I have a photo of him with Ted Kennedy, My Uncle ( A state Senator, & the guy who was e;ected Dem Gov. of NJ that year ) sorry I don't remember his name; at the time I was a Pa resident; at the 1964 Dem convention in Atlantic CIty.
Lautenberg was a businessman at the time oblviously supportive of the progressive ticket.
I was so proud when he was reelected in ( 02?04?)
He has voted with the handful of progeressives consistantly since. In fact I hold him up as an example to my Repug ladies...(COllins & SNowe) with a 'WHy can't you vote with Lautenberg?"," he has the correct stance."
Their aids love hearing that!

6. I'm in Andrews' district but I am voting for Lautenberg.
He is a nice guy, but way too moderate for me.

9. I have already voted via absentee ballot, for Frank.
I hope that this is the end of that little Dino homiculus's career.

I don't expect Frank to live forever of course, but I do want Rush Holt to have a shot of replacing him when the time comes.

11. What about his age?
Unlike McCain, Regan, and Bush, he doesn't seem to dodder.
