Aftermath of the Halloween snowstorm.
Up here in Bergen and Passaic Counties, I've noticed that despite more than a month has elapsed since the snowstorm, lots of large branches remain on the sides of roads and streets in most towns. I get the feeling the towns don't have the money to pick them up and to dispose of them (via woodchipper or composting). My prediction is they'll stay where they are throughout the winter and perhaps into the spring.
