Ban on Horse Slaughter Bill - RI
Hi all,

Senator Jack Reed is a co-sponsor of the above bill, but Senator Lincoln Chafee is dragging his heels on this.

Would you all please fax Senator Lincoln Chafee and ask him to become a co-sponsor for S.1915?

As you all know, last year the Senate voted to ban Horse Slaughter for human consumption in this country, but through official "trickery" (and we all know this well) the horse slaughter plants continued to operate and still do.

The House just passed H.R. 503, which will ban slaughter for human consumption. Now, S. 1915 is going to the Senate and we need all the help we can get.

Please fax, call and write Senator Lincoln Chafee:

Senator Lincoln D. Chafee

Fax #: 202-228-2853

Phone #:202-224-2921

DC Address:

141A Russell Senate Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20510-3903

Also, please thank Senator Jack Reed:

If you need more information as to why this is so important, pleae go to: http://www.habitatforhorses.org/

Please note that the video on the bottom of the page is extremely graphic, but you can also read about what is going on.

Thank you to all that will help the horses.

Sol :)
