but I would also write to my Congressman if I were her. It never hurts to do that. Tell her to go to http://www.house.gov and use the Write Your Rep program to find contact information on her Congressman. Whether the Congressman is Democrat or Republican, they can be an advocate and help her.

Calling her local field office would be a good first step because usually the staffers at the field offices are the ones who help in these situations.
