It's time for Trivia 36: Keep on Trivia! |
|
Well, In about 45 minutes, I'm going to get in my car, drive to the comm building on the UWSP campus and make our campus TV station's preperations for this year's contest.
To anyone playing, good luck, and maybe I'll see you this year at a Trivia Focus.
I'll be back on Monday.

1. Hey, have fun. I'll try to listen but the station doesn't always come in |
|
I've never played but have thought about it. It just never fits well into my life. I keep saying "next year" but it hasn't worked out yet.
Maybe next year?

Didn't know they were online. Unfortunately, I'm spending the weekend redecorating my son's room. But I should have a few hours to tune in online if I can't get it on the radio.

STV's coverage kicked ass this year.
If you were watching the last hours, I was the one that won the stud contest.

of the contest...
looks like you guys had a celebrity there!
Trivia fans survive 54 hours
STEVENS POINT - Trivia 36: "Keep on Trivia" wrapped up at midnight Sunday, 54 hours, thousands of points and hundreds of pounds of pizzas, snacks and sodas after it began.
Throughout Stevens Point and beyond, banners advertising team names hung in front of homes all weekend. Inside, team members scrambled to answer questions on any topic imaginable, from Joe DiMaggio to Rudolfo the ferret.
First place remained up for grabs as the contest wound down, with the top five teams struggling to one-up each other in the world of sometimes-obscure knowledge.
"Jeopardy!" champion Ken Jennings made an appearance for this year's contest, taking time to pause for autographs and photos but ducking interview requests from local media. A documentary crew also was on hand to film the world's largest trivia contest.
But for Trivia die-hards, the weekend was business as usual. And whether that meant partying during the contest or approaching the game with supreme intensity, most said they just were happy to be playing again. Marshfield News-Herald
