Drugs, booze seized from mail (by Canada Post)

Police found about $650,000 worth of cannabis, cocaine and alcohol last week in parcels during inspections at postal facilities in Winnipeg and Montreal.

The drugs and alcohol were en route to communities in Nunavut, northern Quebec and northern Manitoba, RCMP said, adding the items were destined for resale.
