Do you get high from writing |
|
I just solved a major plot problem that's been plaguing me for weeks. I have such a major writers buzz right now. Only other place I've felt it is sports.

2. Exactly why I started blogging.... |

A little different from your plot solution, but have an outlet like a blog for venting is great. I don't even care if its read. It just feels good to have my thoughts recorded.

3. When I reach "the zone" |

I definitely feel high. Sometimes I don't even remember writing what I later read.
And then there are the days when every word feels forced. Bah!

Whenever I get a piece -- fiction or blog post -- done, I get a little bit of that rush.

6. that is the addiction! |
|
when we write, we move energy around in our bodies and psyches. that's why we can feel a shift in ourselves when we stop. any sort of creative acivity will do the same thing - art, music, puzzles. i love it! yes, i think i'll go get high now...
