Have any of you put iPod Linux on your iPod? (For audio recording)

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to all things Linux (in fact, I'm totally clueless), but this seems to allow you to use the iPod as a high-quality audio recorder, rather than the super lo-fi results you get from the Belkin or Griffin add-ons.

1. i have linux on there, but i haven't tried recording
the install was completely painless. Both linux and the regular ipod os can coexist with no problems.

3. Yes, there is an app to do it...
Linux and the iPod firmware work side by side, so there are no problems... it is really mostly a gimmick except for extra games and recording, if that's your thing.
