I've had it - I locked my kids accounts

There was some sort of hassle about City of Heroes - a warning email from the adminstrators or whatever, I don't really care, and I couldn't get onto the computer to do some work, so I've locked all their accounts until further notice.

No City of Heroes, no Counterstrike, no Half-life 2, no Doom3.

If and when the house gets cleaned up, homework done, taxes done and I get to work on a letter I need to write, then I'll think about unlocking them.

If it keeps up, I'm selling the Nintendo.

Anybody else taken that step? Has it worked?

make 'em always have a bag packed, and whenever they act up just grab your car keys and say, "That's it. Go get your suitcase." :evilgrin:

2. Found what worked

I threatened to take away my daughter's door. With the brand-new lock. Which she uses to lock out other kids. And get some privacy with her boyfriend. SO they can *cough* *hack* *choke*....

3. Do the taxes really need to be done before the kids get to play?

That might be going a little overboard. Otherwise I agree. No pay..no play.
