Any Diablo II players here on battle.net |
|
I'm playing again. ANytime I'm stressed I start playing Diablo II again. A nice DUer kept my account alive so I still have my level 86 Sorc and 84 Zon (plus many other characters).
I'm on LoD East - IcePrincessZoso

1. I'm gonna have to reinstall that game and check out the 1.11 patch |
|
What I'm hoping for is that all the activity going on at Blizzard with hiring and stuff is in preparation for Diablo III. Oh, please let them be working on that game!!!! Only thing is I've never been one for battle.net, and always favored the solo game. I still have my level 48 spearazon backed up onto a CD-RW somewhere. :)
But in the meantime, there is this little $20 Diablo wanna-be from Wild Tangent, called Fate, that I've been addicted to. It's like an infinite Diablo I, with a main boss you need to beat but with dungeon levels that won't quit until you decide to, except that your character has a pet dog or cat that you can transform into many of the creatures from the dungeon levels by feeding it fish that you can catch or buy. The game has some balance issues and also suffers from few build options because it's based on skill points and not adventure classes, but it's worth every penny of the $20 and it is generating an active mod community.
www.fatethegame.com if you want to check it out.

I played Diablo and Diablo II. My friends and I were addicted to it. Never really played much on Battle.net with it though
How did it work? It's free right? Do you just go in and play like the regular game but there might be other people there? Or do you get your own instances, and can have people join your group? How does it work.

you just join in a game or create your own. I'm on USEast Non-ladder so if you decide to join type /whereis iceprincesszoso and check to see if I'm online. I usually have a ton of low-level unique stuff on me you can get started with
