2. make sure you get a drive with a big buffer. |
|
bigger buffer = better performance for audio.
an 8mb buffer is typical for audio drives.
avoid 5400rpm or 2mb buffer, they are fine for storage but weak for running sessions off of.
have had good luck with ezquest drives.
