Something to put a smile on your face
Was at the Bill Clinton speech in Tyler today and he was mentioning all of the candidates and their contributions.
The entire auditorium ROARED with appreciation when John Edwards name was mentioned.:loveya:

1. dang i miss John so much..and Elizabeth..and the whole Edwards extended family!
i am sick to death of this campaign and the fighting and the lies and deciet..and the damn media!

but more than anything i am sick to death of the lies and propaganda of the Obama supporters..i do not believe i will be able to vote for him and i know many people saying the same thing.

and to think i wanted to support him when John Stepped out of the race..but his supporters cured me of those thoughts!

anyway..thanks for this piece of good news..

I get emails every day from people who worked on John's campaign..and there is a hole in many of our hearts!

2. Thanks for the report.
*sigh*

Edwards could have really made it a race here. Before he suspended, my local county Dems were doing their straw poll thing -- it was down to a run-off btwn Edwards and Obama...and Edwards was crushing Obama by a two-to-one margin. :D

Now that John is out, they're running Obama against Clinton, and he's crushing her by a two-to-one margin.

Man, Edwards might've gotten a bucket-load of delegates out of my county convention! Granted, we're not very big, but still... :)

It's not gonna stop me from voting for him anyway. :hi:

5. I was intending to still vote for Edwards here in Wisconsin
But this has turned into a crucial contest, as is yours (Texas?), and it would have been similar to voting for Nader in 2000, when the state was a crucial battleground which Gore won by just a few thousand votes.

The upshot is that I voted for Clinton, who I trust far more than I do Obama.

3. That's so good to hear.
Thanks for telling us about this. It really did make me smile. :) (but it's sad, too--knowing what could have been...)

4. WOW, That Says A Lot! Guess That's WHY They Want His Endorsement!
America missed it's chance! I'm going to stay active with other John Edwards blogs... DU has become "weird!"

I miss them SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!
