5. Congratulations to the finalists and the top vote getters. These were an inspiring
assembly of photos I enjoyed looking at all of them and "felt" the season of "Spring."
They made me happy. Thanks, Photographers.

10. You're right, it can't get to be more spring than that.
Except - maybe - the other top honors.
I LOVE your Mustard field. It is simply perfect in its simplicity, the lines and the focus and color. I'm rhapsodic about that photo of yours, and it is a well deserved win.

11. Thanks, Mira
You have to hit the NV in early spring and soak up the mustard.

12. Not to discount the other entries, but I love "Mountain Meadow Spring"
I think it's the extravaganza of color.
All are worthy though. Congrats to everyone.

13. Thank you!
It's a pretty place, about 4500 ft and it's probably snowing there now. We've had a long drawn out winter in CA's higher elevations.

14. You know what! I realize as I read this I never told you just how pastoral that photo is to me.
A calendar with that in it - I can imagine it staying on that photo - and me ditching the rest. The colors, the segments of change, the utter calm beauty of it! A true winner.

19. Well hell
and I almost threw that photo away. Mustard Time was one of my favorites though Mountain Meadow Spring was right up there. Both are better photos than the Robin's bath. I am partial to Columbine's and they are one of my first signs of spring except mine did not come back this year so this one pulled at heart strings. All the photos in the contest were great and everyone is a winner in my mind. Even with our laid back contest it still take courage to post that first photo. I do have to shout out my awe to tabatha for her Hummingbird building a nest, great photo. I am green with envy and wish I had a shot at getting one even close to that good.

Congrats everyone and guess that bird luck/curse(?)is still hanging around. regnaD kciN, great job hosting and TY for doing these seasonal contest (Blueraven too).:yourock:

21. Congrats!
As soon as I saw your picture, I thought it was a winner - it had both fauna and flora spring.
The columbine was also a favorite.

Thanks for the shout out re the hummingbird.
I shot it while waiting for some people at a trailhead.
As I am always early, I had the time to creep up for a close shot.
It was fun to see it fly away, and come back again with different bits and pieces.
Here it is weaving, possibly spider web:
