What the Bleep Do We Know? |
|
God bless you all. It's been a while since I've been here. I want to highly recommend the movie What the Bleep Do We Know? It might be a little "New Thoughty" for some but I think it has Progressive Christian overtones.

1. To each his own, but I did not like that movie at all. |

Particularly "the people are emotions" bullshit. Really simplistic view of humanity there. Also, I hated how the main character blissfully threw her pills away. Sorry, but most folks on meds for depression are going to be up shit creek if they do that. None of the talking heads were pyschotherapists but they blared a lot depressing pyschobabble.

and probably won't, from reading reviews; i take a dim view of new age thought, and from what i've read it mixes that heavily with a bastardized and misunderstood form of quantum mechanics. but, as i said i havent seen it.

3. SEE Post #1. This is not a good quantum mechanics intro. |

It is the worst new age stuff. Could have saved a lot of money by just going to Seekers On Unique Paths (SOUP) on DU (which is good).
