Monday, 5/2: I haven't worked out yet, but I plan to--what about you?
I got in very late last night, and couldn't get out of bed early enough to get my run in before work, so I'm saving it for after work.

I found out that there's a loop around the B-school campus that is 1.5 miles, and I'm going to try to run that twice this afternoon. That will bring me to 3.0 miles. That's almost a 5K. I think it's important for me to get off the track and run the road, as my 5K will be on the road.

Let's hope I can do this today. It would make me feel very powerful if I can.

2. Was pressed for time this morning....
so only did the cardio portions of Step & Intervals and the Pilates section of 10 Minute Solution. Like you, I hope to do more after work (maybe a nice walk--hopefully, outside, if it ever stops f*&#ing raining here in Denver! :-)).

3. I'm running late today too
Was up later than I had planned so I'm going to run after work. Think I'm just going to do 2 miles today.

Good luck on the 5k. It's not as bad as you would think. If you're already running 2 miles, pushing it 1 more isn't too tough. For me the first mile is the longest.

4. Walked 2 miles and then gentle yoga for an hour.
Put my son in the stroller for the walk, but he woke up as soon as we got home. He "helped" me with my yoga by putting stickers all over my body during back bending and then yelling, "mommy, rip it, mommy rip it" during final relaxation. Not sure what he wanted me to rip, but it was not very relaxing. Oh well, I made the effort, can't control the results.

5. Chest and Back, but I skipped my usual cardio
I too up late, running late this morning. . .

So just Chest and Back.

However I don't feel guilty about missing cardio today, as I did an extra long session yesterday.

6. UPDATE: Bad-ass alert
Ladies and Gentlemen: I just jogged 3 miles, and I did it outside--off track (road run).

My legs are really tired, but I feel pretty good.

I'm thinking I'm going to do just fine on the 21st.

The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start.

9. You know it's Monday, cuz it's arm day at my gym.
The blood that should be in my brain is all stuck in my bis and tris right now. Oh well, thinking is overrated (kidding).

12. Back to the Veloway for 12.4 miles.
I focused on cadence and ended up increasing my after speed another .2 miles per hour! :D

It's supposed to be a rainy week so I may have to take to the elliptical some days this week. Keeping fingers crossed for good weather!
