Poll question: Favorite type of cardio exercise? |
|
What's your favorite way to get your heart pumping?
Don't say large quantities of speed.
Oh, and um... no sex threads

1. I'll say elliptical, seems to be more bang for your buck |
|
as far as energy expended versus calories burned. I like the treadmill also, I try to change it up often. I wish my gym had a rowing machine.

2. I'm really all over the place w/ my cardio |
|
these days I jog most often because I'm training for a race.
But historically, my cardio has included the elliptical machine, the StairMaster, the Concept 2 indoor rower, spinning class, outdoor biking and the NordicTrack.
I'd like to take some swimming lessons... maybe next year.

especially if the weather is nice. if it's cold and/or rainy, it sucks. but i guess i should be grateful that i don't have to slog thru snow and ice.
i just got a mtn bike from a neighbor. it's nothing special but i want to get outside with it and do some cross training. i'm looking forward to that.

7. stair stepper for certain.... |
|
When I went from 425-235lbs, I abused the hell out of the stair stepper...I always felt worked out hard, sweaty, and exhausted after each 40 minute session that I did...If I had the money, I would definately get one of those....:)
