29. If you're Joe Biden, do you walk in late, while someone is speaking
or do you wait until the middle of the inning to sit down? Most people could sneak in late, but the cameras and security make it a little difficult (and obvious) when you're Veep.

BOSTON - U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry and his daughter Vanessa are sporting his-and-her crutches.

The 65-year-old Massachusetts Democrat had surgery last week on his hip to address chronic pain and flexibility issues.

His daughter also had surgery to repair nerve damage in a foot.

Kerry spokeswoman Brigid O'Rourke says Vanessa, a medical student, is getting married this fall "and wanted to be able to dance at her wedding."

The two used their crutches Monday to enter a swearing-in ceremony for Kerry's former brother-in-law, David Thorne, as the new U.S. ambassador to Italy.

The usually clean-shaven Kerry also sported a beard, but his spokeswoman says it's only temporary during his recovery.

86. Sad, but true.
I think, anyway. I don't care who doesn't think the proof is there. I think all it takes is the looking.

94. The proof is out there and overwhelming but the media got the word ...
..... not talk about. 25% of Cuyahoga County was removed from voter rolls prior to the 2004 vote ..... more than double
than bush's margin of victory in the State of Ohio.

101. What I want to know is why there are still people (not Repubs either) who question this
and say it's as foolish to believe in as 9/11 truthing crap. Why do they say the evidence isn't there?

Sorry, I know this is OT. It just bugs me...anyway, back to the memorial, already in progress.

And will say "I wish I'd been there to tell him to pick a few of the stitches loose, like I did Baba Booey."

89. That is my President and so is Al Gore too.
No way would have sat on his ass as New Orleans went under water .... just as Al Gore would have done something
to stop 9/11 after getting a CIA briefing saying that bin Laden wanted to attack.

I got to know some on Kerry's D.C. staff in 2004 the told me stories of his class and friendship ... we seeing that tonight.

Sleep well Teddy.

Teddy and Chris Dodd had apparently tied one on one night and Orrin got him to agree to the Mormon/Faneuil Hall thing.

I was just to lazy to type it out earlier, but now that Orrin just won't shut up (please, get off the stage!) I find I have some free time.

112. Me too.
Makes you realize, freshly, again, what a great song it really is, and just right for him, too.

One question: How come whatever piano they're using has no reverb? I know it's probably a synth piano, but can't you adjust those so they at least sound as if there are vibrating strings involved? On this one, each note comes to a dead stop right after it's played. It has a very cold, fake feeling.
