Don't know how long it will last. I suppose he'll be there with Tweety until the motorcade goes by the crowd in DC. I gather the media can't cover the burial itself.

Keith and Tweety still on with Gene. Tweety just asked why Obama wasn't coming to the gravesite and implied maybe it was because he wanted to return to his vacation. Keith said he didn't think the vacation issue was relevant and it was probably more because, having delivered the eulogy at the funeral, he is now stepping back and letting the family have its event. Tweety for the first time retracted his statement. Heh.

leaving the family to their privacy.

Keith sounds choked up. I expect this is doubly difficult for him, being the first funeral he's worked since dealing with his mother's. It is no doubt bringing a lot home to him.
