Congratulations, Sharon. The Lions won for the first time since 1853.
Or so Keith said.

Oh well, you got a win. And that Brett Favre is unstoppable so the Rev should be happy again. However, I sit here knowing that RavensGirl and I will always have something between us, and today's game was just part of it. As Dan said, "Tackling was optional for the Browns today..." That's actually pretty much the story every week. Or, as Keith said he thought Eric Mangini would say, "What we need to do is...I don't know what we need to do!" Well, he better figure it out soon or he is going to become another Ohio unemployment statistic.

1. Don't congratulate me
I couldn't care less what the Lions do -- not a fan. They're just a joke to me.

2. Well, the Browns are a joke to me too, but something in me still wants them to win.
Hell, they're from Cleveland. What can I say?

As for the Tigers, well, someone has to take care of the Yankees this year, besides which it will give Detroit something to be happy about, and that's a good thing. Go forth and handle the job.

3. It's okay, Berry.
At the very least I was hoping Cleveland would get a touchdown so it would'nt be so bad. Seeing the highlights again made me realize something--if we can do that to Pittsburgh in November, I'll feel so much better for it!

I still love ya, so think of it this way--Cleveland is in good company with the deadskins.

4. The problem, RavensChick, is of course that the Ravens are our stolen team
and the Browns have been playing like the expansion team they are ever since they returned.

I don't hold this against you personally, because you are not Art Modell, and Baltimorans (Baltimoreans? I hate to call you guys "morans") also know what it was like to have their team pack up and move out in the middle of the night (at least if they're old enough). Two wrongs don't make a right, of course, but it's still not their fault. (In case you wondered, Art still has a price on his head in this town--and Ohio has concealed carry. So really, he is best off not returning to this city. Ever.)

So never fear, I don't hold it against you. It's just that Ravens losses especially sting. Although you will never find us complaining about a team that can do that to Pittsburgh.
