2. it is in my view the same as men so often doing dominating the womans sexuality by attempting to
embarass her, humiliate her, that her toys was recognized. no other reason to put the note in there. in both of the threads, i think people are overlooking the hostile underlining motivation. it is like much of the porn is geared toward humiliation, degrading of women. that was the intent with the note.

imo

3. I don't know...

I got the impression from the message that the person probably thought it was cool and sexy and they probably got a little excited imagining a (sexy) woman playing with toys, and left an encouraging note.

Of course this crosses all kinds of boundaries, and is intrusive and unwelcome, but it's also funny. I think this is more a case of misguided ideas about what is and isn't acceptable... because women are portrayed as wanting to be thought of that way. In the media the message is that women love being stared at and thought of in a sexual manner, so this person probably thought he was doing something positive, and not creeping her out and ruining her toy (and giving her a good laugh in the process). I didn't get any intentionally hostile or demeaning vibe (heh heh, see what I did there?) from the message.

If women weren't portrayed as being open to and appreciative of positive sexual observations from all men 24/7... then no one would think this (or any other form of this behavior) was a good idea.

Many women think it's great, they openly say how much they enjoy it, and they join in in saying that women who don't think it's a-ok are bitter or jealous or prude, so it won't stop anytime soon.
