Are you aware of any new initiatives for women business owners to get small business loans (very small, btw...less than $5k) when they have really bad credit?

5. :( No, I've only been checking insofar as health care

subsidies, the exchanges and the Small Business Health Options Programs.

But I remember something about Obama funding the SBA to either start up or expand microloans, and found this:

"Microlenders (Intermediaries) are located in 46 of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Alaska, Rhode Island, Utah and West Virginia are the only states without an Intermediary. Rhode Island is currently being serviced by South Eastern Economic Development out of Taunton, MA and a portion of West Virginia is being serviced by Washington County Council on Economic Development out of Washington, PA"

The only thing is that repairing credit MAY be required so I'm not sure.
